"Partnering with Poise: Caring for the Care Partner”

For spouses, children, parents, grandchildren & friends of anyone with long term care needs.

A four day workshop to support your long term wellbeing and safety
independent of the person you are caring for

Build resilience for the physical and emotional challenges of caregiving.
Have good fun in an enjoyable social setting.

This evidence-based workshop will teach you some very practical skills to help you manage the many physical and emotional demands of caregiving. You will be able to start applying these skills right away throughout your day, without having to set time aside to “practice”.

This workshop is adapted from Alexander technique (AT), a well-established approach in the performing arts for skillfully managing stressful circumstances. AT training has also been found to be effective in reducing physical symptoms such as chronic neck and back pain — common complaints for care partners — and it has been demonstrated that AT training has long-term retention of benefits.

Take away practical strategies that will support you today, and for the rest of your life.
