THE POISE PROJECT: alexander technique for the 21st century

THE POISE PROJECT ADVOCACY @ PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCES

As an important part of our mission, The Poise Project advocates for Alexander technique to industry professionals, including science, education, medical and allied health professionals, at conferences and other events. We have exhibit tables, present research, lead workshops and continuing education trainings, and network with professionals to promote a broader awareness of the role of AT and the AT professional.

The Poise Project teams unite members of the general public who have benefited from AT, target-industry experts, and AT professionals for a coordinated, collaborative advocacy. We prepare our teams in advance so that they can be the most successful public ambassadors possible when interacting with other professionals who can potentially connect our work to members of the general public that we would like to benefit.

If you are interested in being on one of our conference teams, or having assistance for a conference you would like to organize a team for, please contact us at: AlexanderForAll@thepoiseproject.org or 828-254-3102
